Customer service can be enlightening

So, I work at ATT and I must say that it is the best job I have ever had. I love the people that I work with, for the most part the customers, and the pay isnt too shabby either. I am very thankful for God using Melissa to get me this job. It has been nothing short of a blessing. Although, I love my job, there is an aspect of it that I hate that has been kind of an eye opener to me. As I talk to Jason and my mom about it they both said I am naive and I am sure that you too will agree. People are selfish by nature. I know that I can be selfish, but I am shocked to see the selfishness that is out there. I will go the extra mile for my customers. I will come in on my days off, answer their call whether or not I am at work, I will sit on hold with cust service to fight on their behalf, and I will get them the best deals possible. I thought for sure if I am doing all of this for my customers they will surely be loyal and appreciative...think again! It has been a harsh reality because I want to believe that all people are good and loyal and want others best intrest over theirs...this is not the case:( so to all of you out there that are appreciating others and putting them before yourselves, keep it up! This yucky way of life is going to continue until we all take a good look at our lives and change...it all starts with us...

Im a sucker, I gave in!

So my good friend Kristal has been blogging for awhile. She would always ask me if I read her blog that day, and feeling like a horrible friend I would say no. My secret is, I had no idea what blogging was or how to even get on to read her blog...Now my husband, Jason, has been blogging for a few months now so I feel completely out of the loop seeing all the blogs out there. So, my blogging journey begins...

Who Am I?

I am a follower and lover of Jesus, a wife, and a dreamer.

I am not who I was. I am not who I want to be. I seek to live a life that honors God, the Great I Am, my maker and savior, showing others the love He shows me. This has manifested itself through my experience being a youth pastor/leader/coordinator over the last several years, and is changing by the minute.

My personal blog is to be an authentic dialog celebrating and mourning the things I encounter on my journey.

My book is to be a help to young girls who believe the lies the world is telling them.

Both are here to connect me to the world in hope that God will use me for His Kingdom.

My passion is to serve young women by helping them understand their self worth as it is ascribed to them by our Creator and Savior. I'm available to speak, encourage, and teach them on a case by case basis. Click "Booking" above to find out more!

We all deserve better. And the only way we'll get it is through relationship with God through Jesus, and relationship with each other.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
